The Rishon Le Zion Archery Club was founded in 2004, under the auspices of the Rishon Le Zion Municipal Company for Culture and Sport. The club started its activities in the “Kiryat Rishon Community Center” in West Rishon and during the first year of activity, many members have joined – men, women and juniors, Towards the middle of 2005 the club moved to its new location in the Amphi-Park, part of the Sportek compound in West Rishon Le Zion, and it includes 40 active members.
The club is characterized by its homelike feeling, mutual aid, and social activities besides archery. The club provides training conditions in an open, shaded area for all shooting ranges in summer and winter.
The Rishon Le Zion Archery Club aspires to be a professional, valued and fair home for anyone who is interested in the sport of archery.
We train in recurve bows, compound bows, and barebows. We own a large variety of equipment for beginners and a workshop for fixing and rebuilding bows, arrows and auxiliary equipment. Free parking for members is provided.The club management organizes meetings and competitions for all ages year round by cooperating with other clubs in Israel and abroad.
The club includes, for the 3rd year in a row, a group of youngsters whose families came from Ethiopia. They train together with us, achieve good results, and the ones who excel join us in competitions abroad.
